George Lucas confirmed he had three additional Star Wars films planned after the prequels but retired from directing to complete the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art instead. The museum opens in Los Angeles with the Star Wars in Motion exhibit focused on vehicles and art from the original six films. Lucas has described the unused sequels as stories involving the Whills and the microscopic world of the Force. His final limited Star Wars project, selections from the unreleased Detours series, screens only at the museum.
