Paramount will complete their acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery next week, and history tells us that in the name of cost-cutting, a large number of staff will suddenly find themselves out of a job. When Paramount’s goal is to save at least $6 billion from the merger, the question is not if, but how many DC Comics staffers will be fired.
