Hey, tonight I’m just hanging out with the first Glénat Corum album, Le Chevalier des épées, and flipping through it live. After Elric and Hawkmoon, they’re finally doing the Prince in the Scarlet Robe, and I wanted to see how it holds up page by page.David Chauvel’s on script, Luca Merli does the art and colors, Ronan Toulhoat built the graphic bible, and it dropped in March 2026 in that big 24×32 format. It’s the start of The Knight of the Swords: Corum Jhaelen Irsei is the last of the Vadhagh, gets grabbed and messed up by Glandyth and his Mabden raiders, then gets stuck with this impossible job of stealing Arioch’s heart. Gods are walking around, people are getting used as pieces, and Corum’s mostly just trying not to get crushed. We’ll talk about what Chauvel keeps, what he speeds up, and whether Merli’s dense, fiery pages actually feel like Moorcock or just look cool. Spoilers from page one, so either have the book or don’t mind the ride. Jump in the chat if you’ve read the novels, want to yell about a panel, or just want to compare it to the other Glénat Eternal Champion stuff.
