“Basic Instinct” Guest-starring the Avengers. Script by Paul Jenkins. Pencils by Mark Texeira. Inks by Richard Clark.. Painted cover by Mark Texeira. The Green Goliath is in the New Mexico desert brooding and agonizing over the circumstances of his creation. When suddenly he gets the urge to go to New York City and begin tearing up Central Park! Needless to say, the Hulk’s actions draw the attention of the powerful team of super-heroes that resides close by! And as illustrated on a beautiful panel, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes rush to the park to meet the challenge of the Incredible Hulk! However this battle is different. The Vision postulates that based upon the Hulk’s behavior, he’s in New York to find a mate! Oh boy, can one of the avengers, perhaps She-Hulk, talk sense into the Hulk and halt his unviable quest? Avengers Lineup: Goliath, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, Triathlon, Vision, Warbird, and the Wasp.
