Welcome to Art Share, where we scroll Instagram like it’s a job and argue about whether that one comic panel is genius or just a guy who found a decent brush tool and a lot of free time.

I’m the one who thinks half of these are unreasonably good. Grumpy Rob is the one who thinks most of them are crimes against composition and also personally attacking him. We attempt (and often fail) to be normal about it, and occasionally spiral into debates about line weight, why everyone keeps drawing the same sad guy in a hoodie, and whether that background is intentional or just “I got tired.”

Expect:Genuine appreciation mixed with completely unhelpful critiques
Rob saying “I don’t get it” in a tone that suggests he gets it and hates it
Me defending art that probably doesn’t need defending
Occasional silence while we both stare at a panel like it personally wronged us
