Rewind back to 2017-2018. Geoff Johns is working as a producer, filming Justice League with Zack Snyder as director, Allegedly Snyder is forced out and Joss Whedon is brought in as his replacement. At this point the allegation is that Whedon was treating Ray Fisher playing Cyborg in Justice League badly and it was racially motivated. Only they know if that’s true. Was he just not a likeable character? You should be more of a light-hearted quasimodo, said Johns to Fisher. He took offence to that. That’s Fisher’s side of it. Apparently also Zod has a mixed heritage, his grandparents side were black, at least based on a scifi show called Krypton. Who knew comics and comic movies were so goofy.
