In a previously telegraphed move, OnlyFans has announced the total ban of sexually explicit content on their platform starting in October. Their reason? The lack of investors willing to put money behind a platform with adult content. Nudity will still be allowed under certain terms, but it is officially the end of OnlyFans as a platform for enterprising sex workers – joining a long line of platforms and payment processors such as Tumblr and Paypal.
