The iconic sci-fi series The X-Files is set for a reboot, with the director of Black Panther taking control of things.

The show’s original creator, Chris Carter, revealed Ryan Coogler is the person tasked with bringing the hit series back to the small screen and said he will do so with a “diverse cast”.

The X-Files was a huge success in its original form between 1993 and 2002, with Hollywood stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson dazzling fans as the impressive agents Mulder and Scully.
