Once the mainstay of the American comic industry, Diamond Comic Distributor has filed for Chapter 11 today. While many want to point to Covid as the main cause of their eventual demise, a lot of publishers have voiced dissatisfaction with Diamond for a long time already. Is this the end for comic book stores? What about the publishers?
