Over 70 retailer exclusive variant covers will be offered for issue 21, which no doubt inflates the sales number of the book. Not only that, the sales through these retailers do not help your local comic book shop at all, since most of the sales will happen online. When the market for the Absolute variant dried up, will industry sales follow?
