Zelazny won six Hugos and three Nebulas across a career that produced Lord of Light, the Chronicles of Amber, and Doorways in the Sand before his death in 1995 at age 58. The Roadmarks sellout follows a pattern across the premium small press collector market — Subterranean Press, Suntup Editions, and Centipede Press consistently sell out classic science fiction and fantasy reprints in hours while the mainstream publishing industry pushes fan fiction adaptations and sensitivity-reader-approved new releases that struggle to find lasting audiences.
