The new Resident Evil movie just dropped, and it is a blast from start to finish. Instead of getting bogged down in convoluted lore, it gives us a straightforward, relentless, A-to-Z survival ride that genuinely feels like playing through a video game campaign.

The premise is dead simple: our lead has one job—deliver a package. From the moment he picks it up, every single step forward throws a new obstacle, creature, or nightmare in his path. It’s packed with engaging moments, solid humor, and pacing that never lets up. Best of all, it genuinely feels like an origin story resetting the board for Raccoon City.
