The Erasure Of Redheads In Comics

The strangest thing in comics outside of obvious race-swapping and gender-swapping, is how often the recessive redhead trait is replaced. From Mary Jane, Spider-Man’s love interest, to Wally West. It seems as if the live action replacements for these characters have an ulterior motive.
