An NYC public school principal is asking parents to reflect on their whiteness and figure out who they are inside. The curriculum was written by Barnor Hesse, an associate professor of American American studies has put together this attempt to “dismantle the regime of whiteness”. The 8 point list is a radial dial between: White Abolitionist, White Traitor, White Critical, White Confessional, White Benefit, White Privilege, White Voyeurism, and finally White Supremacy at the top of the White Pyramid (where you would want to belong if you believe in this interpretation of the world).
