Masters of the WWE Universe Figures Are the Cartoon We Didn’t Know We Needed
Mattel has created a line of WWE figures featuring wrestlers in the style of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Mattel has developed a new line of action figures, which recasts WWE’s wrestlers as heroes and villains in the mold of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The figures were revealed on the Wrestling Figure News Source Twitter account.
True to his namesake, the Roberts figure will feature a face that pops off to reveal a scaly visage. The Fiend’s face is painted in a ghoulish visage, and comes with two weapons, a double-bladed battle-ax and a mace. Mr. T will sport massive golden gauntlets to match his various chains. Finally, Rollins’ figure comes with a flaming sword to rival He-Man’s Sword of Power.
The fusion of different franchises to create new toys has stretched for decades, particularly with the Transformers figures. Mixing the larger than life personalities of the WWE champions with the Masters of the Universe mythos is a particularly inventive choice.
The “Masters of the WWE Universe” will be available exclusively at Walmart.
The “Masters Of The WWE Universe” line consists of four figures: Jake “The Snake Roberts, Mr. T, Seth Rollins and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. They come with various accessories, and also feature high points of articulation for “Power Posing”.
