I was working on my first comic book, Table for One, when 9/11 hit, and I considered leaving the book and starting my direct response to 9/11, but I decided to stay with the book, and work on what ended up being Pigman after. But I did end up having the story take place not long after 9/11, and I had a double page spread where I had customers, among many different conversations, having their say on the attack.
