Ivan Costa has loved comics for as long as he can remember. While building a career as a marketing executive, he also helped organize Brazil’s FIQ – International Comic Festival and assembled an extensive art collection. In 2013, his passion led him to found the talent and illustration agency Chiaroscuro Studios. That same year, he co-founded CCXP Comic Con Experience in Brazil, which became the world’s largest pop culture event with 287,000 attendees in 2023, and expanded to Mexico and soon South Korea. He also curates major art exhibitions, including the recent DC Heroes now open in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Ivan frequently speaks on pop culture, comics, and entrepreneurship. He lives in São Paulo, but his heart is always in Gotham City.
