Another day, another crowdfunded project using decades of works from still-living creators who will not see a single cent from the projects. Although these companies are not legally obligated to pay these creators for past works being reproduced, are they at least morally obligated to pay some sort of good-faith sum as a thank-you? Should creators continue to give their best to companies that will exploit their work for many years after?
