Today the boys have a nice chat with comic writer and fanboy Glenn Greenberg! Glenn is an award-winning editor, journalist, copywriter, and author with an MFA in Creative Writing. His work spans a wide variety of areas and disciplines, appearing in such print and web publications as TIME Special Edition, Entertainment Weekly, People, SyFy Wire, TIME Magazine For Kids, TIME Edge, Scholastic News, Time Out New York, ProSound News, Back Issue, and RetroFan.
Throughout the 1990s, Glenn worked as an editor and writer at Marvel Comics on such world-famous franchises as Spider-Man, the Hulk, the Silver Surfer, Thor, Iron Man, Dracula, Star Trek, and even DC Comics’ flagship character, Superman, for a special inter-company crossover publishing event that pitted the Man of Steel against Marvel’s iconic monster anti-hero, the Incredible Hulk. He also wrote original, creator-owned stories for smaller, independent comic-book companies and was a contributing writer to the acclaimed, award-winning, illustrated anthology, Mine!: A Celebration of Liberty and Freedom for All Benefitting Planned Parenthood.
On the fiction front, Glenn has written two Star Trek novellas, “The Art of the Deal” and its sequel, “The Art of the Comeback,” for Simon and Schuster, and the X-Files novella “XXX,” which in 2017 was nominated for a Scribe Award for Best Short Fiction, by the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers.
