Checking out The Atlantean comic issue 3 today. I am flipping through the pages of this massive, magazine style format adventure.
This series continues the journey of Kull and Brule, and it is easily one of the most visually striking books I have picked up recently. The scale of the art is impressive compared to a standard issue, and seeing the creator-owned comics space produce work this bold is always a highlight of my daily reading challenge. If you enjoyed Shadow Kingdom, you will want to see how this chapter handles the high-stakes action.
I am walking through the panels to get a sense of the layout and the overall storytelling flow. It is refreshing to see independent projects that prioritize such a unique physical presentation. Let me know in the comments if you prefer this oversized format or the traditional comic size.
