WyzGames – “Empire Builder Ancient Egypt” (01) Browsing STEAM, Testing the Waters
I’m trying to get back into gaming gradually and Steam is one of the places I go to access some of my games. I traditionally prefer to get games on physical media, but do have a few that are stream-only.
I’m going to give this a shot and see if I can do a gaming stream from my computer.
I’d appreciate any feedback, particularly if there’s no Audio or if the screen goes black.
Initial Observations
* Whenever I launch a game it goes full-screen
* While a game is in full screen I’m not sure if I’ll be able to easily switch back to StreamYards to check the chat.
* Steam has a friends list and chat interface but I’m unclear as to whether any messages sent in StreamYards chat (via YouTube, Twitch or Facebook) will come through on-screen to my game. That’s why I’m thinking I may need to play in windowed mode.

Mac Pro Tower (Mid-2010)
OS: MacOS Mojave (Version 10.14.6)
CPU: 12 core, 2 x 6-core, 2.66 GHz, Intel Xeon CPU
RAM: 64 GB (1333 MHz DDR3 ECC memory modules)
Video Graphics: Radeon RX 580 8 GB graphics, with Metal support
Optical Drives: 2 internal SuperDrives (read/write/rw CDs, DVDs, CD+-RW, DVD-RW)
Internal Storage: 22 TB SATA 7200rpm
Monitor: ViewSonic 22.4” VX2240w Display
Keyboard: Apple Keyboard Extended
Mouse: Logitech Trackman Wheel (M/N: T-BB18)
Current Setup:
* MacOS Mojave. Since the video card upgrade and Mojave support, it appears Apple has further found a way to hamper the ability to support multi-boot multi-OS systems. So Mojave is installed on two volumes (hard drives) and rest of the drives are used mostly for Data, though the older OS’ ++ are still present on one of the drives.
* ++ – MacOS’ Snow Leopard, Mountain Lion, Yosemite, High Sierra, one per volume.
* BootCamp on one partition has Windows 10 on it.
* One MacOS Volume has Connectix VirtualPC running Windows 95 SE, Windows NT 4.0, Windows XP Professional.
* Another MacOS Volume has Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows XP Professional, Windows 7 Professional.
* Usage: My YouTube Channel, local gaming, network gaming, MMO gaming, movie/video streaming, internet browsing, email
