In response to @Comics by Perch who proposed that Marvel and DC Comics can follow indie comic creators into the world of crowdfunding, we made this video. Corporate comics, who have traditionally sold to retailers instead of directly to customers, will find themselves in a whole new playing field that they may not be well-equipped to handle. Will creators who crowdfund for mega corporates get a fair cut of the profits? Will Marvel and DC Comics be able to pivot to listening to their customer base instead of chasing hashtags and retweets?
