It is June, which means virtue-signaling time for corporates! What better way to signal than to create the imaginary problem of Ian McKellen’s gay Gandalf being an issue with fans for decades based on an old blog post of his from the year 2000? TheOneRing.net name-calls OG Lord of the Ring fans out for being part of the racist/misogynistic/supremacist problem in fandom, but is this just to cover up for the impending failure of Amazon’s woke Game of Thrones wannabe LOTR series?
